Solo show St Stephen’s Church Fylingdales North Yorkshire and Goedereede Maritime Tower, Holland, August 2010.

Sculpted felt and found textiles – a story of love and loss at sea across the sea.

The project was inspired by the knitting patterns on fishermen’s ganseys unique to each village and coastal town that provided vital evidence for the women waiting on the quay to identify of husbands and sons missing at sea. The themes of pattern, belonging, community, identity and fishing linked both the villages of Robin Hoods Bay in North Yorkshire and Goedereede in Holland. Workshop with Fylingdales primary school to create new patters based on the geographical topography of the area.
