Review textile project continues

Ulrika is inspirational she has such a great sense of humour

It is time to send Isabel Ferrand’s beautifully embroidered maps to Ulrike Oeter in Germany.  Meanwhile my Russian dolls  have been in Germany and are about to go on to Holland. It is a fascinating project and a real challenge to add to another persons’ work. Do visit the review textile blog for further updates. http://reviewtextile.wordpress.com

The photo shoot went well today for the exhibition ‘An Impossible Eclecticism’ – Laughton and Friends.  The exhibition and the Cave of Harmony  cabaret performances  at Woodend Gallery will open in November 2012 and run until December 15th, the anniversary of Charles Laughton’s death.  The images are inspired by John Armstrong’s fabulous paintings.
