My next project is a collaboration between textile artists Isabel Ferrand in Urecht and Ulrike Oeter in Cologne for the Review textile exhibition at Baltic Triangle for the Liverpool Biennial you can catch up with the exhibition from 15th September 2012.
I curated Simon’s wonderful photographs across two venues, Scarborough Art Gallery and the Stephen Joseph Theatre. The theatre also made me some make up tables which reflected the slide show in one gallery and their wardrobe department lent us costumes for the public to dress up. I got sponsorship from theatrical make-up suppliers Charles Fox who gave us a vast array of wonderful products to play with. The V&A who tour the exhibition were great to work with.
A typically Atkinson Grimshaw night on Museum Terrace Tickle my Fancy opened at the Electric Angel Gallery last night many thanks to my sponsors Adrian Riley, Don French, The Cast Iron Bath Co and Chris Meek for their generosity and support!
Some exhibitions however small can throw up rather big challenges, especially if you are working with new technologies. The creative team at Electric Angel and Don French Signs are being very supportive as are my friends at the Stephen Joseph Theatre!
